There are many blogging platforms providing free easy-to-use blogs. We are using wordpress.

When you have signed up for your wordpress blog, here are simple instructions for posting a wordpress blog entry:

To write a post, login in and select write on the toolbar.
Catagories

On the right hand side tick of the write window is a list of catagories. Tick which apply or add a new one.
Links
Highlight the word(s) you would like to form a link.

Select the little chain link icon:

which will bring up the following box to fill in:

Images

Use the tree icon to add images to your posts. If they are on the internet already you can enter the URL. If not – upload them using the upload form below the post entry area. When it is uploaded drag the image into the post where you would like to to be.

Video
To add video, it must be hosted by youtube or google video. Click on the video tab in the upload screen and it will give you instructions
